Boettcher Concert Hall

The Colorado Symphony performs Gustav Mahler's remarkable Symphony No. 2 "Resurrection," a five-movement symphony that takes listeners on a dark, solemn, and sublime journey that meditates on the themes of life, death, and rebirth. Mahler's Symphony No. 2 is the largest symphony ever made in terms of forces, length, and harmonic boldness yet is his most popular and successful work.
Don't forget to arrive early for the prelude at 6:30 pm hosted by Phillip Stevens with special guests Michael Thornton and the CU Horn Choir. Preludes are insightful discussions that take place before each Masterworks performance and are included with your concert ticket.
