Ring in the New Year with the king of the funky saxophone and one of the primary architects of modern R&B, Maceo Parker. Parker is a funk legend who performed as an essential voice in the powerhouse horns backing James Brown and Parliament/Funkadelic. As a bandleader, the unrelentingly soulful saxophonist/vocalist has ascended into the funk firmament in his own right, leading a righteously grooving outfit that always gets the dance floor movin'. Opening the show will be rising R&B star Judith Hill, who gained fame working with Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, and Prince. She also was featured on the Oscar-winning documentary film 20 Feet from Stardom and the fourth season of The Voice. Don't miss what will no doubtfully be the one of the best funk concerts of the year.
