Come visit us at the Hubbard Street Dance Center, where programs run year-round for students ages 18 months to 18 years. Try FREE preview classes, meet faculty and staff — and take a ballet placement class, too!

Our Open House will feature 30-minute previews of our most popular classes, including Creative Movement, ballet, modern, hip-hop, jazz, and more. Plus, save the $50 registration fee when you register for Fall Session classes at our Open House!

Love to perform? 

Youth Dance Ensemble and Junior Ensemble members experience the joy of performing in addition to their intensive coursework in a variety of techniques. Selected dancers learn selections of current and historical repertoire from Hubbard Street’s main company and Hubbard Street 2. Past performances and venues include the CPS School Tour, Dance for Life’s Next Generation, the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago, and more.

Auditions for our Youth Dance Ensemble (ages 14–18) and the NEW Junior Ensemble (ages 10–13) will be held at the Open House. Registration opens at 1:30pm. Ballet class attire is mandatory.
