We’re giving back this December by partnering with our friends at the Red Shoe Society (the Young Professionals group of the Ronald McDonald House Charities). One of the ways the Ronald McDonald House (RMH) raises funds for their work providing housing and meals for families who have children staying in hospitals long term is from melting down pop tops from metal cans.
We will meet at Torched Hop Brewing TONIGHT to make our own pop-top collecting containers, eat, drink, and mingle. All spots in our December 7 event at the Ronald McDonald House have filled up.
RSVP to yp@high.org to let me know if you are attending tonight or the Facebook event!
Bring all your friends (using your Museum guest passes and $5 walk up tickets) and make new ones during a scavenger hunt at the High! We'll break into teams and use clues to explore pieces in our permanent collection. After we solve all the mysteries and wrap up the hunt, we'll grab some drinks and enjoy Friday Jazz featuring The Convergence.
Join us for the High Museum’s first ever mixology event! We’re bringing together the most distinguished bartenders from around the metropolitan area for a chance to demonstrate their boozy creations and compete drink for drink. Winner claims cash prize and bragging rights as one of Atlanta’s top mixologists.
Do you have an event idea for the Young Professionals? I would love to hear it! Please reach out to me at laura.jurotich@high.org.
