DARING AND UNIQUE!
Jump in and explore all elements of theatre-making in this dynamic four-week intensive.
CREATE your own play! Experience the thrill of creating and performing in an original play while taking daily core (skill-based) ACTING, IMPROV, VOICE, and MOVEMENT classes. Students choose from daily electives based on individual interests, such as musical theatre, playwriting, stage combat, and on-camera acting, along with weekly seminars in directing, hip hop dance, dialects, and other production disciplines.
MOVE into rehearsal mode! Students focus on staging, character development, and incorporating the skills they have learned in all classes. All groups enter into daily rehearsals, adding production elements such as lights, sound, and costumes in order to prepare for their very own PROFESSIONAL PERFORMANCE.
PERFORM your original work at one of Berkeley Rep’s performance spaces to an invited audience of family and friends!
