Cavalleria Rusticana at Edmonton Fringe!

Craving some opera during the summer? Well, look no further! Our friends at Pop Goes The Opera present Pietro Mascagni's one-act opera, Cavalleria Rusticana at the 35th Edmonton Fringe Festival! A masterpiece of verismo opera, this passionate tale of love, betrayal, and revenge is not to be missed.

Cavalleria Rusticana opens this Thursday, August 11 at Holy Trinity Anglican Church, a venue with incredible acoustics and a magnificent pipe organ! Led by Music Director Stuart Sladden and Stage Directors Glynis Price and Jill Hoogewoonink, this production features Edmonton Opera Principals, Chorus and members of various Edmonton Choirs.
