Jo Steffens Wins Rozsa Award for Innovation

The 2014 recipients of the Rozsa Awards were announced in the lobby of the Jack Singer Concert Hall the night of June 12. CanLit Turned Animation

Many great works of Canadian literature have been animated by the National Film Board of Canada. Wordfest is recognizing these literary animations with a weekly mini-series of blog posts exploring the films. The series kicked off in advance of Canada Day with Stephen Leacock's "My Financial Career," followed by an animation based on Mordecai Richler's "The Street." The final installment in the series will be released next week. Read more...
