2017/18 SEASON ANNOUNCED!

Browse our 2017/18 Season brochure — packed with phenomenal talent! Joining us in Denver next season is the world’s greatest classical singer, soprano Renée Fleming, living legend cellist Yo-Yo Ma, pianist Olga Kern, violinist Karen Gomyo, and cellist Alban Gerhardt. Plus, we're thrilled to feature our very own Concertmaster Yumi Hwang-Williams and Principal Trumpet Justin Bartels.

As always, there’s much more to our season than traditional masterworks. We’ll perform film scores for The Nightmare Before Christmas™ and Jurassic Park™ as we screen the movies live, and we’ll pay tribute to such pop icons as Ella Fitzgerald and Prince. In December, we’ll strike up our colorful parade of holiday concerts, including the return of A Colorado Christmas and two performances of Denver favorite Too Hot to Handel.

As you flip through this brochure, you may notice that we’ve renamed a couple of our series: “Masterworks” has become “Classics,” and “Pops” has become “Symphony Pops.” We’ve also re-imagined our Inside the Score series as an even more immersive, engaging Ted Talk®-style series called LISTEN/HEAR. Plus, our Family Series continues to be the ideal introduction to the magical world of the orchestra for the young and young at heart. While we’ve renamed these series, one thing remains the same: Our 2017/18 Season will feature the best symphonic music ever composed!
