Salt Lake City, UT (October 30, 2018) - The 2018 ISU World Cup Short Track comes to the Utah Olympic Oval November 9 to 11.
This international event features the world’s top short track speed skating athletes from over 30 countries competing in the 500m, 1000m, 1500m, 2000m Mixed Gender relay, 3000m Ladies relay & 5000m Men’s relay distances.
Team USA skaters will face steep competition - racing skaters from the Netherlands, Russia, China, South Korea and more - in an attempt to set personal bests and break world records on the "Fastest Ice on Earth."
Featuring 2018 PyeongChang Winter Games Olympians Aaron Tran and Thomas Hong - as well as 18-year-old Olympian and up-and-comer Maame Biney - the U.S. is fielding a strong lineup and team. Salt Lake City's own Adam Callister will also represent Utah and Team USA on the ice.
Tickets are on sale now through Smith'sTix for $10 for adults ages 13+ and $5 for children ages 6-12. Children under five will be admitted to the event for free.
The races begin Friday, Nov. 9 and continue through Sunday, Nov. 11. Friday will feature free admission for all ages.

Doors open at 10 a.m.
Qualifying Rounds begin at 10:30 a.m.
Races end approximately at 5 p.m.
Saturday, November 10
Doors open at 1 p.m.
Races begin at 2 p.m.
Races end approximately at 6 p.m.
Sunday, November 11
Doors open at 1 p.m.
Races begin at 2 p.m.
Races end approximately at 6 p.m.
