Why listen to music? Why study it? Why experience it?

Alejandro Cerda first came to the San Francisco Symphony with his elementary school.

Today, he volunteers at the Symphony’s Adventures in Music (AIM) concerts to help the next generation of young people begin their own musical journeys.

His commitment to the Symphony and to music stems from his belief that to be more creative, you must be exposed to creativity.

In a reality where thinking outside the box is often the key to success, Alejandro wants to make sure that kids experience all sorts of innovations: scientific, literary, and, yes, musical.

Our world is dominated by screens, by virtual realities, by the fast-paced evolution of technology. None of it would be possible without inspired, creative thinkers, leaders, writers, engineers, scientists, strategists, and artists.

Join Alejandro in his commitment to cultivating creative young people by attending concerts and supporting the arts.
