Fantastic Symphony - featuring our 30 year old Principal Conductor, Nicholas Carter, and 18 year old Australian violinist Grace Clifford. Be thrown into a world of mystique, witches & witchcraft, beheadings, ghouls, romance and obsession in the concert centrepiece - Berlioz's Symphonie Fantastique. Also on the lineup is Sibelius' thrilling Violin Concerto performed by 18 year old whiz-kid Grace Clifford, and Messiaen's Le Tombeau resplendissant.

Berlioz Symphonie Fantastique
After winning the ABC Young Performer Awards in 2014 at the ripe old age of 16 in a performance of Beethoven's Violin Concerto with the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra, Grace Clifford's star is well and truly on the rise. Currently living in the USA (we haven't asked her opinion on the current political situation over there...) Grace returns to the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra for what is sure to be a spell-binding, mind bendingly virtuosic display of kick-ass music making.
You think you're good at your job? Just wait until you hear Grace shred it in one of the most virtuosic violin concertos ever composed.
