See what's new for summer 2018:

Sleeping Beauty

Dancers will learn and perform an adaptation of the famous ballet, Sleeping Beauty, while gaining a deeper understanding of dance history and traditional ballet narrative.

Dance Ninjas

In this energetic exploration of dance styles, dancers will improve their ninja skills. Throughout the week students will learn to walk with sneaky silence, sprint and pounce like a cat, and create a mysterious "dance of the ninjas." All black attire is welcome and encouraged.

Dance & Film

Explore new ideas in choreography on and off camera in this exciting new camp. Students will study choreography created for film and then work in groups to create and edit their own dance films. All films will be presented to friends and family the final day of class.

Youth Program Showcase

A round of applause to all the dancers and volunteers who helped our multiple Showcases to run smoothly this weekend.

Ready to register for next year?

Hubbard Street Intensives

Summer Intensives kick off at USC this week, from June 11-22. There are two programs running simultaneously, an advanced level with 65 dancers and a Pre-Professional Choreographic Intensive with 34 dancers.

Welcome dancers! We are excited to have you with us this summer.

Professional Program (HS Pro) News

Hubbard Street's professional program concluded its first year with a successful showing on May 25. They are happy to announce that four dancers have been selected as company apprentices for next season: Emily Wohl, Gaby Diaz, Kelsey Matsch, and Abdiel Figueroa Reyes.

Two dancers have also been offered jobs, Hayley Heckethorn with Bodytraffic and Andrés Trezevant with Charlotte Ballet Company. What incredible results after just a year launching the program!

A show-stopping night of glitz and glamour!

As the kickoff event for its 2018 season, Dance for Life Chicago presents Dance Divas, a party and performance Sunday, June 24, at 6 p.m. and Monday, June 25, at 7p.m. + 9 p.m. at the famed female impersonation nightclub, the Baton Show Lounge. All proceeds benefit The Dancers' Fund. David Schultz, Hubbard Street Main Company dancer, will also be starring as one of the Divas this year.
