Project Dawn was hailed as “one of the very best productions of the season” and Lights Out: Nat “King” Cole sizzled its way through an entirely sold-out run. A Dracula-inspired play called Such Things As Vampires (described by its creators as “part concert, part passion play”) is in the works for next year.
Slick tap-dancing moves help, but it takes more than artistic talent to make a great new play. It takes a lot of faith, enthusiasm, and support from donors and audiences like you. Without your generosity of feedback, excitement for trying the unknown, and – yes – financial gifts, these projects would never make it off the ground.
Please consider making a gift for the sake of new work today.
A gift of $200 allows a playwright to spend a
day researching our region.
A gift of $100 pays for a train ticket to bring artists in from New York.
A gift of $25 buys material for costumes like the gorgeous suits in Lights Out.
