Wine country trip and fire relief

Our intrepid co-chairs, Sandra Baldwin and Beth Park, and their spouses, Dan and David, trekked to California at the end of October to visit with some old and new friends of the Wine Auction. The group visited more than 20 wineries and reconnected with several more friends at our annual Napa Vintners Party. They visited with Gary Farrell Vineyards, Kistler, Lando Wines, Macauley Vineyard, Melka Wines, Seven Stones and many more. Not only were they eager to support Napa and Sonoma after the region's devastating fires, they were so pleased by how wonderful and beautiful the trip was! Napa and Sonoma are open for business. Many regions remain amazingly untouched and just as beautiful as ever. Donors are putting together auction lot ideas that we can't wait to share, so stay tuned as we unveil more details. There will be new and exciting wine trips and experiences to please every palate.

Finally, Sandra and Beth were thrilled to share that friends of the Wine Auction recently joined together to raise much-needed funds for the fire-damaged areas of Napa and Sonoma. More than $27,000 was raised for community foundations in each city. Wow!
