Ballots + ballet

This Friday, November 4 | 6–9 p.m.

Put the party back in politics at the November YP event. Just days before your 2016 vote, take time to enjoy the truly bipartisan. We’re partnering with the Atlanta Ballet Young Professionals to take over  First Fridays (debates on the winning ATL arts institution optional).

A performance by Atlanta Ballet’s Wabi Sabi and art making with the Indie Craft Experience are just the start of the agenda. With DIY campaign buttons, ballots to determine the #1 artwork on view, and drink specials on the docket, we’re sure this night can make art great again.

Meet at our tables in the Taylor Lobby from 6-7 to grab a drink and mingle!

We’re giving back this December by partnering with our friends at the Red Shoe Society (the Young Professionals group of the Ronald McDonald House Charities) to make pop top collectors, eat, drink, and mingle (location TBA.) We also have a few spots open to join RSS members at the Ronald McDonald House for their monthly Family Activity Night On December 7 to make the pop top collectors with the families and kids. Check the website for updated information!

scavenger hunt + Friday jazz

Friday, January 20 | 8–10 p.m.

Bring all your friends (using your Museum guest passes and $5 walk up tickets) and make new ones during a scavenger hunt at the High! We'll break into teams and use clues to explore pieces in our permanent collection. After we solve all the mysteries and wrap up the hunt, we'll grab some drinks and enjoy Friday Jazz featuring The Convergence. Scavenger Hunt theme and details will be available on our website soon. Mark your calendar now and stay tuned!

HINDU ART AND ARCHITECTURE EXPLORATION

September 24

We explored Hindu culture with an art- and architecture-focused tour of the stunningly beautiful BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir in Lilburn, GA (only 17 miles from Midtown!)

grant park spooks + spirits

October 12

Our Art and Architecture of Death tour through Atlanta’s famed Oakland Cemetery was ~killer~ to say the least. We explored the cemetery’s fascinating and beautiful nineteenth-century monuments and mausoleums and then had drinks at Six Feet Under.
