A Frank Lloyd Wright Experience Delights Parties of Note Guests

PHOENIX — One of the most anticipated events in The Phoenix Symphony’s Parties of Note season is the annual A Frank Lloyd Wright Experience, welcoming art and architecture enthusiasts to the home of David E. Dodge. Mr. Dodge, a renowned architect and composer, hosted more than 100 guests at his Taliesin West home on February 27, 2019. Truly a feast for the eyes, the home’s contemporary and organic architectural design is adorned with Asian artifacts and exquisite sculptures.

A Chamber Ensemble of Phoenix Symphony musicians performed Dodge’s own Symphony No. 12 and Symphony No. 13 led by Phoenix Symphony Conductor Tito Muñoz. In addition to the provocative music and breathtaking views of the scenic McDowell Mountains, guests enjoyed a delectable East Asian-inspired dinner created by the talented Thai chef Vichai Karmakhan.  

Now in its seventh season, Parties of Note is a one-of-a-kind program offering a unique opportunity to spend an evening in an intimate setting with Symphony musicians and friends, while enjoying a gourmet meal in some of the Valley's finest homes and unique venues.
