One year on Broadway

11 April will mark the one year anniversary of the official opening of Matilda the Musical at the Shubert Theatre, New York! 

In the past twelve months Matilda the Musical has seen great success on Broadway, continually playing to sold out audiences.

The production has won 4 Tony Awards, 5 Drama Desk Awards and the New York Drama Critics' Circle Award for Best Musical, amongst many others.

Back in the UK Matilda the Musical  has recently been awarded the Equity Best West End Show Award at the 2014 Whatsonstage Awards.

We are pleased to announce that Miss Honey, Matilda and all of her classmates are heading off on a national tour of the United States in 2015.

Matilda the Musical will travel to Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle and Dallas with more cities to be announced. 

2015 will also see the debut of Matilda the Musical in Australia. Performances start at Sydney's Lyric Theatre in August next year. 

Henry IV Live from Stratford-upon-Avon

Live from Stratford-upon-Avon

Continuing the success of the screening of  Richard II in November, Henry IV Part I and  Part II will also be screened to cinemas as the next of our Live from Stratford-upon-Avon broadcasts. The productions will be broadcast across America from June. 

Gregory Doran continues his exploration of Shakespeare’s History Plays, with Antony Sher as Falstaff, Jasper Britton as Henry IV and Alex Hassell as Prince Hal.

Wolf Hall and Bring Up The Bodies

Our critically-acclaimed adaptations of Hilary Mantel's novels Wolf Hall  and Bring Up The Bodies are to transfer for a strictly limited run at The Aldwych Theatre in London's West End in May this year.
