This Month's Shoutout: New Faculty Members!

Please join us in welcoming Emma Hill and Megan Davis to the Youth Dance Program this spring.

Ms Emma is our newest Creative Movement Teacher, teaching the 3-5 and 5-7 age groups on Saturday Mornings in Studio 2. Besides teaching Youth Dance Program classes Emma is also the Education and Youth Assistant here at Hubbard Street and works as a mentor in our Adaptive Dance Programs.

Ms Megan began teaching our Thursday Tap B class in studio E as well as the Thursday Beginner/Intermediate tap class for LCDS. We look forward to seeing our tap classes continue to progress in their technique and rhythm this spring.

Dance World

Whether your dancer is preparing for audition season, or just taking their regular classes, proper warm-up is necessary. Coming in from the cold and getting your body ready to move can be a challenge. Check out this article from Dance Magazine on how to correctly prepare your body for class and improve your warm-up routine.
