R. Alexander Artist talk and tour

R Alexander Fine Art Gallery and Sculpture Garden will host two October events! Join us on either date for a tour of their exquisite sculpture garden, gallery, and an artist talk with current exhibitioner, sculptor, and fellow Art Partner member Gregory Johnson.

High Museum of Art docents offer guided, interactive tours to a wide range of audiences. A background in art history is not required; however, a passion for art and ease in communicating with the public are necessary.

Candidates will train every Wednesday, 9am – 2pm, January - June 2017. The focus of the training will be on our School Curriculum-based tours, which take place Tuesdays-FridaysProspective candidates must first fill out an application (found by clicking on the button below) and interview with Education Staff and current Docents.

September features the sounds of Kevin Scott, the first-call bassist for a variety of performers spanning many genres, including jazz, rock, funk, metal, R&B, and hip-hop. 

Book Club

Wednesday, September 7 | 7–8:30 p.m.

For the month of September, Art Partners will be reading Half a Lifelong Romance by Eileen Chang.

Due to an unforeseen scheduling conflict, our September Artist Talk and Tour planned for the Artmore Hotel unfortunately has to be rescheduled for a date in November. We look forward to seeing you at the R. Alexander events in October!
