First Class Free

If there are young undiscovered dancers in your community twirling across carpet and leaping off furniture then we have a special offer for them! This fall, the Academy invites aspiring new students ages 2 - 9 to try their first class free!

Already enrolled? Refer a friend! If they enroll for the year, a $20 tuition credit is yours as a thank you!

Class Updates

Tuesday, October 3: CD3 4:00pm, CD1 5:00pm, CD2 5:45pm will all be taught by Rosa Compostella, Level 6/7 Choreography rotation will be taught by Patty Pille.

Wednesday, October 4: CD1 10:00am, Petite Pas de Deux 10:45am & 6:00pm, CD1 4:30pm, CD2 5:15pm will all be taught by Rosa Compostella.  

Thursday, October 5: Level 1A will be taught by Rosa Compostella.

Friday, October 6: Level 6/7 will be combined with Level 5 from 5:30-7pm (Level 5 will remain in class until their regularly scheduled time of 8:00pm)

Saturday, October 7: Level 3 Advanced B will be taught by Patty Pille.

Professional Training Division

Our Professional Training Division was spotlighted in this month's issue of Cincy Magazine! 

“Our long-term goals include expanding our services on all fronts. We want to use dance to serve the whole community while also becoming a destination school for promising students across the nation,” says Ginger Johnson, director of academy administration. “Our hope is to provide dance-related benefits to novice students of all ages as well as the highest level of burgeoning young talent. We want everyone to have a place here at the Otto M. Budig Academy.”  

Collide!

October 13 - 14

Cincinnati Ballet is pleased to present Collide! in partnership with Contemporary Dance Theater. The performance series is a unique collaboration in celebration of the BLINK Festival, and offers an exciting opportunity to experience world premiere contemporary dance works along the BLINK route with three performances at the Aronoff Center’s Jarson Kaplan Theater. 

Music Hall Community Day

Saturday, October 7

In celebration of the reopening of Music Hall, this free event includes a behind-the-scenes tour of the state-of-the art, newly-renovated iconic home of many beloved arts organizations, including Cincinnati Ballet!  Throughout the building and surrounding area, you’ll experience performances, tours and hands-on activities in a day that promises to be unlike any other.

Romeo & Juliet

Cincinnati Ballet returns to the newly renovated Cincinnati Music Hall with six performances of Victoria Morgan's passionate Romeo & Juliet, October 26 through 29.

The story of Romeo & Juliet has captivated audiences for more than 420 years, and this season, we bring the beloved tale to life with a spectacularly brilliant fusion of dance and drama.
