Spring Production 2017

Featuring our Main Division program in An Evening of the Classics on Friday, May 12 and our Children's Division program in Fairytales and Fantasies on Saturday, May 13, this season's performances take on an elevated experience in our new venue, the Matthews Auditorium at Princeton High School.

Theater Week and Performance Day Details

Please be on the lookout for the final Spring Production information packet which will be sent via email this week. 

This packet will include important details as you prepare for the upcoming Spring Production including Main Division Theater week schedule, drop off/pick up procedures, theater reminders and more! We appreciate your careful review of this information when it arrives to your email inbox this week!

Main Division Weekend Rehearsal Schedule

Weekend rehearsals are scheduled as deemed artistically necessary by instructors. These rehearsals are mandatory and only one (1) absence during these rehearsals will be excused. Please check the schedule carefully and make note of any rehearsals for your student's performance class(es). Thank you!

Spring Production Tickets

Spring Production is in less than 4 weeks! Do you have your tickets?

There are three simple ways to purchase your Spring Production tickets: 

Online by visiting the link below, by phone at 513.621.5282, or in person by visiting Cincinnati Ballet's Box Office (Mon-Fri 10 am - 5 pm). All ticket purchases are final. 

Children's Division Costume Pick up

Costumes will be distributed during your student's class this week, April 17 - 23.

An Academy staff member will be in the Ballet Center lobby distributing costumes during Children's Division classes this week. Costumes will be given to parents or guardians only.

Once you receive the costume, please keep it in a safe place! Students are required to have their costume in order to participate in Spring Production and should costumes be damaged or lost, there is not sufficient time to order another. Thank you for your understanding!

Class Updates

Tuesday, April 18: Level 3B will be taught by Ken Shelby. Level 4B will be taught by a substitute instructor TBD. Level 6/7 will be combined with Level 5 with Dawn Kelly 6:15-7:45 PM and Rotating class with Karen Kurelis 7:45-9:00 PM.

Wednesday, April 19: Petite Pas de Deux (Morse) will be taught by a substitute instructor TBD. Level 6 will be combined with Level 7 6:45-8:45 PM.

Sunday, April 23: Level 4B will be taught by Ken Shelby. Contemporary/Broadway will be taught by a substitute instructor TBD.

Lost & Found

The lost and found from all studios has been compiled and will be available this week (April 17-23) for Academy families to look through to locate potential lost items if desired. Next Monday, April 24, all remaining items will be donated.

On Stage

April 20 - 30, The Kaplan New Works Series

New Works remains committed to celebrating innovation in dance and brings internationally recognized choreographers right to our door step. This year is no exception with a dazzling, all-women roster. Victoria has chosen the best female choreographers to present their work alongside her, in keeping with the tradition of innovation while highlighting the talented women who are underrepresented in our art form. Morgan will present a world premiere of her own along with new works from Jennifer Archibald, Annabelle Lopez Ochoa and Heather Britt.

Kids Dance Camp

June 5 - 9 & July 24 - August 4

Your ticket to summer adventure! This summer, Kids Dance Camp is heading out on week-long safaris to the jungle, the arctic and the ocean! 

Youth Summer Intensive

July 10 - August 4

Developing proficiency and passion! Daily classes in technique (and pointe for Division II and III), complimented by instruction in other dance styles, build strength and foster versatility. 

Pointe Workshop

June 5 - 9

 Building essential strength and technical foundation for a fun, safe and successful transition to pointe work.
