HARTFORD, CT — July 9, 2019 — Hartford Stage will host its second fundraising golf tournament on Thursday, September 12, at the Keney Park Golf Course & Tavern in Windsor. Proceeds from The Hartford Stage Open will support the Tony Award-winning regional theatre’s artistic and education programs.
“Last September, Hartford Stage hosted its first-ever fundraising golf tournament at Keney Park, and it was a huge success,” said Hartford Stage Board President David R. Jimenez. “We were delighted by the participation of over 80 golfers and grateful for their generous support, so we’re doing it again.”
All participant packages for this year’s Open will include a brown bag lunch, cocktail and dinner reception, commemorative photos, branded hat and a pair of Hartford Stage tickets. There will also be contests, prizes, and an exclusive silent auction.
Following the tournament, a dinner reception will be held at The Tavern at Keney Park, a member of the Dish Restaurant Group. The winning team will receive a trophy handcrafted by Hartford Stage Scene Shop staff at the reception, where raffle winners will also be announced.
