"Recently,
I have made a few small projects in the woodshop, such as a set of
cutting boards for myself and a pizza peel for my dad for Father’s Day.
I am also currently working on a mahogany hall table for my mom, though
this project will take a bit longer. I recently started learning to do
pottery with my girlfriend and we are enjoying ourselves very much. I
have made a few new mugs for me and my family and a vase for my
girlfriend. Crafting is very rewarding because you work so hard at
something, you put so much into it and you know that it is yours and
there isn’t anything else exactly like it in the world.
"The Crafts Center has become my home away from home – a place that I can feel relaxed and welcome. I have made a lot of friends and have had many good times. My girlfriend and I have learned many things and have enjoyed being a part of the Crafts Center so much. I would like to say thank you to everyone at the Crafts Center for all of your support and encouragement throughout the years." --Caleb Gallentine
