Holiday & New Year's Resolution Intensives
Registration Now Open
Registration for Holiday and New Year's Resolution Intensives is now open online for students in Levels 4 through Pre-Professional (or ages 11+ by placement). Students may sign-up for the session or register by day.
Spring Registration Now Open
Spring registration is now live on COLORADOBALLET.ORG. Students in Parent/Tot, Creative Dance and Pre-Ballet will need to register for the Spring semester. Creative Dance and Pre-Ballet students must register and finish the year at the same level they began in the Fall. Please ensure you register for the same level. Spring classes will start January 7, 2019.
Important note: Students who are currently registered in Ballet 1 through Pre-Professional Division will not need to re-register for the upcoming Spring semester.
Summer Intensive—June 17-July 20, 2019
Colorado Ballet Academy students are invited to attend Colorado Ballet's Summer Intensive and Young Dancer Workshop this summer. Current students of Colorado Ballet Academy are not required to audition, but we highly recommend attending one of the first two local audition dates in order to secure your placement. Students have the option of signing up for 2 weeks (June 17-June 30), 3 weeks (July 1-July 20), or 5 weeks (June 17-July 20).
Observation Week—November 12-17
Please join us November 12-17 for Observation Week! Parents are invited to see first-hand what the students are learning. Some dates have changed, so please review them via the button below. We hope to see you there.
PLEASE NOTE: Photo/video is not permitted during observation classes. Time will be reserved at the end of the each observation class to allow dancers to pose or do a combination that can be photographed or videoed by the parents.
Uniforms Have Arrived
Our new uniforms made their debut during Fall Feature. Students should wear their uniforms to class once they receive them. Levels 6 through Pre-Professional should follow their uniform guidelines. Colorado Ballet Academy uniforms are now available for purchase online. The deadline for additional orders is December 15.
Upcoming Scheduled Breaks
Students will not have regularly scheduled classes on the following dates:
• November 19 - 24 (No adult classes as well)
• December 16, 2018 - January 6, 2019
All-Academy Production of Giselle
Family pre-sale tickets now available
May 25, 2019 | 1:00PM & 6:00PM
All students enrolled in Levels 1 through Pre-Professional Division will perform Giselle on May 25 at the Ellie Caulkins Opera House. Colorado Ballet Academy is thrilled to be able to teach the art of ballet to students through this classical masterpiece and perform in Denver's most treasured theater.
Levels 1 through 5 casting will be emailed by November 9, 2019.
Levels 6 through Pre-Professional Division casting will be finalized by April 27, 2019.

Dear Fall Feature Performers,
Congratulations on a successful weekend of beautiful shows! I am so proud of every one of you for your hard work, applying your corrections and performing beautifully. With each performance, you showed more quality—more upper body, cleaner footwork, brighter personalities—you were beautiful!
Thank you again to all of our teachers who helped prepare the students for Fall Feature and to our production team for their expertise and contributions.
I look forward to the work ahead with all of you to bring the Academy's production of Giselle to life.

Colorado Ballet's The Nutcracker
Presented by Anadarko
November 24 - December 24
Colorado Ballet's acclaimed production of The Nutcracker, the largest in the state and named the best-loved Nutcracker in the U.S. in the 10th Annual Goldstar National Nutcracker Award Contest, returns for its 58th year. Live music performed by the Colorado Ballet Orchestra. The Nutcracker will feature over 80 Colorado Ballet Academy students as well as many of our teachers.
First Friday Art Walk
First Friday Art Walks are the signature event of Denver's Art District on Santa Fe. The District comes alive the first Friday of each month as thousands descend upon Santa Fe Drive year-round, rain or shine, for this free event from 5:30-9:30pm.
As part of First Fridays, Colorado Ballet Academy will host free performances at Colorado Ballet's Black Box Theater at The Armstrong Center for Dance on the following dates:
• December 7
• April 5
Academy Dancers will perform
approximately three 10-15 minutes programs, 20-30 minutes apart throughout the
