Featuring the Colorado Symphony Chorus and vocal soloists, the monumental Missa Solemnis is a masterpiece of spiritual expression and musical innovation. Composed around the time of his Ninth Symphony, the two works shed light on Beethoven’s religious world view–where the Ninth’s ‘Ode to Joy’ is a hymn to man and brotherhood, the Missa Solemnis is a hymn to God. Don't miss this once-in-a-generation performance conducted by Music Director Brett Mitchell.

Join us for the first Beethoven and Brews of the new decade at River North Brewery on Blake Street! In addition to a unique, intimate performance by a Colorado Symphony ensemble, each attendee will receive a flight of beer from River North Brewery's extensive tap list and delicious, locally sourced food from Farm to Truck.

We're teaming up with the talented Denver Young Artists Orchestra under the baton of Assistant Conductor Bertie Baigent. Support the next generation of Colorado musicians as they perform Nielsen's Flute Concerto and Mussorgsky's famous Night on Bald Mountain and Pictures at an Exhibition alongside your Colorado Symphony.
