CANCELLED —
ROTTERDAM PHILHARMONIC ORCHESTRA

CAMA's International Series concert scheduled for Thursday, March 26 has been cancelled.

Due to ongoing concerns around the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), and in response to the guidance issued by the California Department of Public Health and by Santa Barbara County officials advising postponement or cancellation of gatherings with more than 250 persons, the concert by the Rotterdam Philharmonic scheduled for Tuesday, March 26 at The Granada Theatre has been cancelled.

CAMA and the Rotterdam Philharmonic greatly regret the necessity of cancelling this concert. We do so in recognition of the need to preserve the health and well-being of our patrons. The orchestra unfortunately has had to cancel all concerts on its planned tour of North America.

We apologize for any inconvenience and thank our subscribers and single-ticket holders for their understanding as we find our way through this difficult situation.

The guidance from the California Department of Public Health remains in effect through March 31, 2020. It is not clear whether the recommendation to postpone or cancel gatherings of more than 250 persons will be extended beyond that date. The Department has stated:

“As with all guidance that relates to COVID-19 response, authorities will revisit this guidance on a regular basis to evaluate the continued public health need for it and to evaluate if any elements need to be changed.”

Therefore CAMA will await clarification from the Department of Public Health as the month of March proceeds to determine which, if any, of our planned concerts in the 2020 International Series season can go ahead as scheduled.

THE FOLLOWING OPTIONS ARE AVAILABLE TO TICKET HOLDERS:

  1. DONATE the value of your ticket(s) to CAMA and receive a tax receipt for the total ticket value. This gesture of added support will greatly benefit CAMA during this time of uncertainty. To donate your tickets, please email tickets@camasb.org or call (805) 966‑4324.

  2. Receive a REFUND:

    • For SUBSCRIBERS: At this time, it is unclear whether there will be further cancellations of series dates after the Rotterdam Philharmonic. Refunds will be available for CAMA subscribers when it becomes clear which of the remaining three concerts in the International Series will or will not take place. Once this is determined, CAMA will offer refunds for the total value of the cancelled concerts' subscription tickets.

    • For SINGLE-TICKET HOLDERS, receive a refund for the total ticket value.

      • For patrons who purchased single tickets to the Rotterdam Philharmonic through The Granada Theatre Box Office, refunds will be available by calling the Box Office at (805) 899‑2222.

      • For patrons who purchased single tickets to the Rotterdam Philharmonic through the CAMA Office, please contact the CAMA office at tickets@camasb.org.

      • If you are unsure where you purchased your tickets, please call the CAMA Office at (805) 966‑4324 and we will direct you in regard to receiving your refund.

We will keep you informed and thank you in advance for your patience.

We are grateful for your support during what has been—up to this point—an exciting and very successful season, as exemplified by the recent Gala 100th Anniversary Concert by the Los Angeles Philharmonic on March 6.
