We are only a couple days away from placing our 2012 camps on sale. If you are planning to purchase any camps this year, please take a moment to read through this helpful guide as you prepare for public registration on February 9, 2012.

Review the "My Account" tab once you log into the camp website to add or modify your camper information.

Save time by pre-registering your campers or confirming their information
if you registered them for previous Summer Camps.

Make sure your member status is current with The Smithsonian Associates.

Camps go on sale to the general public on Thurs., Feb. 9. However, advanced registration is available to Contributor ($300) or higher level supporters of The Smithsonian Associates on Wed., Feb. 8 at 9 a.m. Learn more>>

Camps are extremely popular and sell out quickly. So, we encourage you to have back-up camp selections made before you register in case your top choices are sold out.

With any camp purchase, our refund policy is as follows: A 75-percent refund will be issued if our customer service department is notified at least four weeks in writing via email or fax before the start date of your registered camp. No refunds or changes will be made thereafter.

You will be given an email confirmation with your purchase. No tickets are mailed.

Per IRS guidelines, the cost of day camp may count as an expense toward the child and dependent care credit. Learn more>>
